2023 started with a bang at 86 Proof Whiskey Bar - with DJ Ivy Phi spinning throwback RnB and hip hop tracks, fireworks and drink specials all night, we danced our way out of 2022 and into the new year.

In November 2022, we were lucky enough to be chosen to officially launch Four Pillars latest addition, Four Pillars Fresh Yuzu Gin in Vietnam.

For the launch, our bar team featured 3 signature cocktails, highlighting the natural flavours of the Fresh Yuzu Gin, whilst paying homage to its Japanese roots.

Our very own bar captain, Lan Pham and his signature cocktail the Tsuki Moon, took home 1st place in the Best Bartender Award in a pool of 30 of Saigon's best bartenders.

86 Proof represented Four Pillars at the festival, showcasing a variety of their gins.

Halloween saw 86 Proof transform into a spooky red horror house, complete with DJ Omar on the decks, Grab Bartenders, a Halloween themed drinks menu and best dressed competition.

In collaboration with Bulldog Gin, we participated in Negroni Week - featuring 3 types of Negronis: Coldbrew Negroni, Thai Calamsi Negroni & a Negroni Sour.

Brand ambassador, Elia Marchetti, took over the 86 Proof bar - shaking up 3 signature Monkey Shoulder cocktails.

The C-word reared its horrible head, and like many in our position, we were left unable to do what we love most - have our amazing patrons in our amazing bar.

To keep afloat and to stay in touch with our amazing customers, we delivered a range of “Lockdown Cocktails” for as long as legally possible. Freshly made, handcrafted cocktails - delivered right to your door. We even kept our Happy Hour.

In September 2020, the amazing people at Union Jacks Saigon took over our kitchen for 3 months. Serving up their amazing English inspired menu and of course famous fish & chips.

In April 2021, Yousseff and the amazing team at Habibas Kitchen held a 2 day “Pizza Not a Pizza” pop up, serving up their creative middle eastern inspired flatbread pizza.
